Pakistan, UAE agree to enhance economic, trade cooperation

Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to promote bilateral cooperation in the economic and trade sectors.

This was expressed during a telephonic conversation between Foreign Minster Shah Mahmood Qureshi and UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) enjoy deep, historic and fraternal ties, adding that millions of Pakistanis living in the UAE have been contributing to the development of the UAE for the past many decades.

Both foreign ministers on the occasion agreed to promote trade relations. They also discussed issues of mutual interest, including bilateral relations and the overall political situation in the region.
