The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications is taking significant effort to help talented entrepreneurs succeed.
In this regard, GSMA Innovation Fund for Mobile Internet Adoption and Digital Inclusion has named three Pakistani startups as recipients of a total grant of around GBP 668,000 (out of 597 start-up proposals received from 44 countries). Vceela, Knowledge Platform, and Orenda Pakistan are among the winner startups.
At a renowned ceremony, Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications Syed Amin Ul Haq presented certificates to the winners.
Syed Aminul Haq, Federal Minister for Information Technology, spoke at the ceremony, praising the efforts of the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA) and stating that Pakistan’s revolutionary changes in the field of telecommunication are now being recognized all over the world.
